Welcome to the GWHS Patriots Esports 2022 Fundraising Campaign! We are working towards creating a club that is
inclusive to students that may not have the outlet after school to work with others in a
competitive environment. Many of our potential team members do not take part in any
extracurricular activities and we hope that providing them with this opportunity will
benefit their social and emotional status in a positive way. We want to be able to have
the players hear their name over the loudspeaker during morning announcement when
they pull off that win. We want the students to be able to achieve that recognition for
the time and effort they have put into their hobby. With esports becoming a larger
component of the entertainment “sphere”, we want our student to have a chance to
succeed in an area that they have passion for.
